His experience is broad and unique. A pharmacist by profession with nearly 25 years’ experience within the industry, Sandy has a great grounding in pharmaceutical marketing at a Global, European and UK domestic level. Prior to OPEN Health, Sandy worked in clinical development, sales, marketing and communications at Novartis and Sanofi, followed by 5 years at Huntsworth Health, where she headed up the European team; managing the integrated brand communications, medical communications and market research offerings. Roger is a Chartered Accountant with 30 years’ experience in the marketing services sector, including his role as Group Finance Director of Shandwick Plc and later Huntsworth Plc, retiring in 2006. Matt brings over 20 years’ agency experience to OPEN Health. Having started his career in consumer advertising, he made the switch to healthcare in 2000. Matt has vast experience in International campaign development and implementation. His expertise lies in working with clients to develop strategy, formulate communication plans, engage successfully with affiliate markets and maximise the launch potential for brands. He has helped launch over 16 brands in the last 4 years - from specialist niche oncology products to primary care entrants. Matt also has great digital experience, having helped build OPEN Digital and now working closely with the health technology team at The EarthWorks. Andy has spent nearly half his life in consumer and pharmaceutical marketing, leaping to the latter in 1999. With 17 years’ industry experience, Margot spent the first 10 years of her career client side working on brands such as Losec, Amias, Actos and Crestor where her primary focus was on opinion leader and guidelines development. In 2007 she moved agency side where she led Pan-European and Global accounts, including the development and publication of a White Paper which reported findings from almost 3,000 HCPs across Europe on the relationship between clinical hesitation and increased cardiovascular risk in uncontrolled blood pressure. Eventually joining OPEN Health at the beginning of 2011, Margot has since then built a strong team of Medical Communication specialists working in a variety of therapy areas from prostate cancer to schizophrenia. Margot’s collective experiences mean she instinctively understands how to shape and deliver an impactful Medical Communications programme. Having graduated with a Pharmacy degree Rob joined Novartis where he worked in R&D, Finance and Marketing and completed an MBA. He moved to GSK into a global commercial role and launched a novel anti-infective, before leaving to run a global pharmaceutical advertising and medical education agency. He then spent 10 years running his own pre-launch strategic consultancy before joining Huntsworth Health as their European Managing Director of Med Comms.
Rob joined OPEN Health in 2014 and has enjoyed building on the previous successes of Succinct, expanding its geography into the USA and Dubai and its expertise beyond Med Comms into both publications and independent medical education.
