Planner - Brand Communications

Due to continued growth, our LEC London office is looking for a Planner to join their highly successful team and establish the planning function in London. As an experienced healthcare agency planner, you'll be familiar with the key responsibilities:

  • Understanding and shaping our pharmaceutical clients’ brand direction through competitor and market analysis, trend monitoring and strategic performance input
  • Assessing the company’s operational and strategic performance supporting the senior team in making effective decisions
  • Analysing business proposals
  • Aligning processes, resources-planning and brand goals with overall strategy
  • Providing support and insight into significant organisational changes (e.g. shift in strategic focus, new entrant to market etc.)

Required experience and qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Strategic Planner or Business Consultant
  • Sound understanding of science and medicine, the healthcare environment and the pharmaceutical industry
  • Understanding of market research and data analysis
  • Knowledge of business operations and procedures
  • Demonstrable strategic thinking abilities
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
  • Organisational and leadership skills
  • Ability to facilitate great workshops with key clients
  • Digital expertise and a willingness to find new and exciting ways to communicate
  • Great people management skills (both internally and externally) and a proven track record of building lasting relationships with clients
  • Great presentation skills
  • A proactive, outgoing personality with a genuine enjoyment of client contact and teamwork
  • Life science degree

Location

Holborn is a buzzing, intellectual pocket of Central London forming part of the London Borough of Camden and the City of Westminster. Right at the centre of the capital, it is a key commercial area situated only a short walk away from the West End and Covent Garden, which provides everything from blockbuster musicals to beautifully staged ballets. Many restaurants populate the area, aided by the surrounding luxury hotels, and the green spaces offered by the likes of Lincoln’s Inn fields also makes up for the distance from London’s major parks.
